Then I thought about you, and infected you—it's a viral brain infection, so of course it's transmitted through brain waves, that makes perfect sense. We should probably just drive to the hospital right now.

Midway through Shot Show

2012 Shot Show is going great. Noticed a lot of usual vendors aren't here and there are lots of new. Have had numerous meetings and great response from those we want as sponsors. The relationship with The Pursuit Channel has moved up several levels. They are recommending FDP Films to produce shows that are in need of a producer and production company.

Talked about a new show concept today with The Pursuit Channel to produce in association with FDP Films.

The new camera rig and shoulder kit should be in this week. When it gets here I'll upload pictures and write reviews on how well it works.

Just a little of my History in Filmmaking

I wrote and produced one of the first pilot in 1996 to use the new medium of HD. Barry Corbin was the host and storyteller. Discovery Channel made an offer to buy. I'm a gorilla filmmaker working in the trenches of broadcast TV. I've freelance produced for America's Most Wanted, Inside Edition, Dateline, RealTV, etc. I've produced Docs. for Discovery Channel, Storm Warning and Without Warning. I am also a freelance cameraman for ESPN sports. I started as a Grass Valley editor 20 years ago then got dragged into the world of AVID kicking and screaming. But nothing edits like FCP.

New BlogSpot

I used to have a gorillafilmmaking blogspot. But it got swallowed up in the re-vamp of Blogspot. So, I'll be posting here at least once a week our filming techniques, trials, tribulations and triumphs.

We just finished filming in the dusty west texas CapRock range. I'll tell you all about in a few days.
